The other day we rescued a beautiful girl we named Bonny from the animal shelter in Los Banos. She’s about three years old and is a black and white split-face rough coat Border Collie. She’s such a nice, sweet dog and it’s a shame that her former owners did not care enough to come looking for her.
Bonny was found in a grocery store looking for food and had a collar with half of a broken leash attached to it. When I picked her up from the shelter, I was able to talk to the animal control officer who found her. She is healthy aside from the fleas that she had (since taken care of with a flea bath) and it’s sad that no one came looking for her. 🙁 But now, she is in a loving home with us until she finds her forever home. 🙂
Bonny is getting spayed tomorrow, so won’t be available for adoption until after she recovers from her surgery.
