The other day, we picked up our new foster for the Border Collie Rescue of Northern California.
We named her Poppy.
We rescued her from the Merced Animal Shelter, where she had been abandoned one night when her former owners threw her over the fence into the shelter.
She’s such an affectionate and sweet girl. She’s a five year old red and white spayed female BC with a split face and a beautiful rough coat. She’s a bit aggressive with our BCs as he is trying to be the alpha. She is submissive towards humans and cats and loves to be petted and loved.
This sweet, gorgeous girl is available for adoption through the Border Collie Rescue of Northern California.

I’m in LA county and am thinking about fostering. I am 71 and have a young female Yorkshire Terrier. Thought she might need
a friend. Any advice? Email_ Noraedwards43@gmail.com
