Our beautiful foster dog, Poppy, was adopted the other day!
She went to live with a wonderful family in Concord, CA where I know she will be very happy. It sure is bittersweet finding our foster dogs their forever homes, even if we only had them with us for a little over a week. The first meeting with her new momma was the most emotional one that I’ve witnessed thus far and I have never seen an adopter as happy as she was. I just knew it was meant to be. 
Poppy is our last foster dog for a little while as we are both going on a trip and taking a break from fostering. Sometimes we need little breaks like this as do our dogs.
