I have been a bit AWOL from here. Truth is, I didn’t really want to post until I shared some photos of my new dresses, but unfortunately, my camera decided to quit on me while we were on vacation. My wonderful husband just got me a new one for my birthday, so I’m back in business. 🙂
I wanted to share a bit of what I started doing yesterday. LINGERIE!
I remember laughing when my MIL told me how her neighbor made her own underwear. But then I’ve seen people doing it on blogs and thought, why not? You can make it to fit and use gorgeous materials. So, I’ve been collecting fabrics and patterns and have bought two bra kits in hopes of trying my hand at it. As far as panty making, it’s quite easy. I also just got a serger, so that should make it easier. I don’t know why I didn’t do this before!
Also, just to let you know, I have been participating in “Me Made May”, even though I haven’t shared any photos. Just know that I’m there, doing it! Even right now I’m wearing my me made cotton lawn nightgown!
